Product Scope
Tanuki Cleaner is a Mac disk-visualization and cleanup utility. It helps you scan local disks and folders, inspect large storage consumers, collect items for deletion, reveal files in Finder, and permanently delete selected items.
Tanuki Cleaner does not promise to recover every kind of hidden storage, repair file-system corruption, manage cloud storage, provide backup, undelete files, or decide for you what is safe to delete.
Your Responsibility For Deletion
Tanuki Cleaner includes guardrails, warnings, and confirmation flows, but you are responsible for choosing what to delete. Permanent deletion can remove files, projects, app data, settings, sign-in state, or other data you may need.
Keep reliable backups before using any deletion tool. Do not delete files or folders unless you recognize the path and understand the consequences.
Free Access
Tanuki Cleaner is free to download and use.
You are responsible for any internet, device, operating-system, App Store, or third-party charges that may apply outside Tanuki Cleaner.
Permitted Use
You may use Tanuki Cleaner only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the website, interfere with service operations, bypass security controls, or use the product to harm another person or system.
