Information The App Processes
Tanuki Cleaner scans file-system metadata such as file names, folder names, paths, sizes, disk capacity, available capacity, and scan issues reported by macOS. This metadata is used to build the visual disk map, collector, hidden-storage accounting, and cleanup workflow.
Tanuki Cleaner is not designed to read file contents for remote analysis or upload your disk map to a server. If you choose to reveal a path in Finder or delete a collected item, that action happens locally on your Mac through macOS APIs.
Website Analytics And Downloads
The website may use consent-gated first-party analytics through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine to understand page views, section views, download intent, and basic campaign performance.
The website does not use third-party advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral advertising trackers, or session replay tools. If analytics consent is not granted, optional browser-side analytics are not sent.
